Sandpoint Parks & Rec., brings you this important course on family/community water safety. After completing this presentation, participants will be able to: Recognize the importance of water safety training and swimming lessons, Describe the Circle of Drowning Prevention and the Chain of Drowning Survival, Understand the elements of water competency, explain steps to take to remain safe in, on, and around water. Presented by highly experienced, Red Cross certified water safety and lifeguarding instructors.
On-line registration deadline: Session 1 - June 26, 2019 Session 2 - July 10, 2019
Session 1 is June 29, 2019 from 1 – 2:30 pm, meet at City Beach Lifeguard Shack.
Session 2 is July 13, 2019 from 1 – 2:30 pm, meet at City Beach Lifeguard Shack.
FREE to general public, but a minimum of 4 registered participants are needed to run the course.

If you child is interested in playing school sports in the fall they will need a sports physical. This is required for students entering grades 7, 9, & 11th in the Fall or Students entering
8th, 10th or 12th grade who did not have a physical the previous year. Females may want to wear a sports bra for the scoliosis check. Baseline concussion testing may be offered.
