How does the waitlist work?

Currently, we are contacting patients on the waitlist for ages 75+. We anticipate it will take at least 3 weeks to complete that list. We will then move to the waitlist for ages 65-74 around the 1st of March, which we anticipate will take at least 4 weeks to complete. Finally, we hope to be able to start contacting individuals on the waitlist ages 18-64 by the first of April. These dates are approximate and subject to vaccine availability.

Thank you,

Sign-up Guidelines

  •  You MUST wear a mask when you enter Pinegrove Medical Building and during your entire visit. There are no exceptions.
  • You must NOT have any acute illness, fever, or cough at the time of your vaccination.
  • If you have already had COVID-19, you will be eligible for vaccination after other groups have received the vaccine. Please do not sign up now.
  • Due to space limitations, if you bring others to your vaccination please have them wait in the car unless you need assistance while in the office.
  • You must not have received another vaccine in the 2 weeks prior to your COVID vaccination.
  • Please bring photo identification and proof of age/employment to ensure that we are following the vaccination phases outlined by the Panhandle Health District.
  • Anticipate 30 minutes of your time to complete the vaccination and recommended 15 minutes post-vaccination observation time.
  • The vaccination requires 2 doses. If this is your first dose, you will need to receive the second dose a minimum of 28 days after the first dose. We anticipate having adequate vaccine supply available at that time but you will need to sign up separately for the second dose when that time arises.
  • Please wear a shirt that exposes your upper arm for easier administration of the vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccine FAQ's (updated 1/27/21)

**FOR PATIENTS OF FAMILY HEALTH CENTER ONLY

FAQ's:

1. Do you have to get your 2nd dose of vaccine exactly 28 days after the first vaccine?

  • No, although that is the recommended interval. The manufacturer recommends no less than 24 days and the CDC recommends up to 42 days being acceptable.

2. When I check the website there are no appointments available, what do I do?

  • We plan appointment capacity based off the number of vaccines we receive each week. Please be patient with us as some weeks we receive more vaccine than other weeks.

3. When should I check the website to schedule an appointment?

  • Early in the week is your best bet as the appointments will be recently posted and will have the most openings available.

4. Can non-patients of Family Health Center get vaccinated?

  • At this time, we are only accepting current Family Health Center patients.

5. Where should I get my second dose?

  • In most cases you should get your second dose in the same location you got your first dose. We expect to receive the same number of second doses that we administered as first doses for those patients who got their first doses at Family Health Center.
